Hi Fewfre! I'm from the Gaming Content Team here at Fandom. One of the things that we do is we look for ways to optimize wiki visibility to users that come to us from search engines, and the nav bar is pretty important in that regard. I was wondering if we could find a way to put more direct links to Kairosoft games in the nav bar. Maybe we could feature the latest game release prominently in the nav? These are just suggestions, you know this community better than me. In any regard, give us a shout if you ever need any help covering new releases or beefing up existing ones. My discord is fusilli_zaitsev#7185 if that's easier for you.
Sorry for late reply; I will consider doing that for any new games.
As for listing more games, there's already a "Games" section, which shows the games category (which I think shows the most popular ones?), lets you view a random on in the game category, and see untranslated ones.
What would you suggest I do other than what's already there regarding your first point of putting more direct links? Perhaps instead of showing the latest game, there could be a "Newest games" list in the Games dropdown (list from newest to oldest up to the 6 limit)?
The wiki doesn't seem to have much issue with SEO though in my experience; we used to, but if you type in any game names, it comes above anything other than official links. Not saying it doesn't hurt to do better though.
Hey there, long time no hear. I've been setting up the sub-wiki for Baseball Club Story in the past week with help from an editor or two - but overall, there doesn't seem to be much activity. I realize people are more active on reddit, but I was still wondering whether people actually use this thing. So I've been wondering: Is there any way to see the viewing stats for indidual pages?
Doesn't allow you search by page, but: Special:Insights/popularpages. Three of the top 5 are BCS related, so it seems to be getting views. And looking at the analytics page views have gone up from ~12k to ~14k since the 7th (although it's dipping a bit down a bit to ~13k last couple days).
Hi, I'm new here, I want to add my translations on this forum. I opened a Reddit page to post all my translated Kairosoft games in Italian language as you can see on the title. I also joined the Kairosoft reddit page, but I saw that here are stored all the translation from the other languages. Can you please help me doing that if that function is still active?
I assume you mean language packs? If so, you can either host the file on a site of your choosing and add a link to it, or it can be hosted on the wiki (example).
If you want the wiki option, then you could either give me the csv file(s) and I'd add them for you, or if you want to do it you'd want to make a new page such as Transcript:GameName/it.csv, edit it in source mode, then paste the csv file content and save it; if you want the formatting to be nice, you would have to copy the first two lines from the example (in source mode) and paste them (or just ask me to do it).
If you mean translating the actual wiki, you would have to hit the "start a wiki" button on the top right, and make one for Italian.
Yes, I mean the language packs. I don't know well how I can add the csv files or edit the page to add the files, so if you can do, it would be appreciate a lot. I'll link my reddit page with the games already translated, it would be always updated because I have almost all the Kairosoft games, so I want to translate almost all the game that I have.
Hello, I'm Flanqer, and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Kairosoft Wiki. I introduced myself in the forum, but wanted to drop you a personal message since you're the active admin here. I'm here to help your community, and to be a liaison to full-time Fandom Staff. If you ever have any questions related to the wiki, whether it's about editing, styling, infoboxes, policy, etc, please contact me on my message wall.
Hello, thanks for messaging my wall, I rarely check the forum.
I'm sadly not super active on the wiki anymore, mostly just add pages for new games (to make it easy for people to contribute) and try to monitor this and other wikis I manage for bad edits. Sadly this wiki is 44% friend IDs and 44% comments edits now and days. Based on the discord managed by the reddit people I think most people just use the Japanese version of the wiki.
Not a lot of community involvement, but we do occasionally get someone passionate about a specific game, and I'm sure they'll appreciate some extra help!
Fewfre?! What wrong for you... We cannot add pages, images, videos, and comments. Where did not make Kairosoft untranslated games such Adventure Kingdom Island, Wai Wai Quest Story, and more games. And if tries played times.
