Medals are a currency that can be bought for real money in High Sea Saga, and earned in-game. It is used for buying equipment, adding additional quest teams, expanding your inventory limit, or use in the Dice game.
You are also able to remove adds and unlock landscape mode for a monthly payment of 0.99 cents.

Gold Pass
There is also a Gold Pass for a monthly fee of 4.99, which gives:
- An additional 20 Medal login bonus per day
- Stamina regeneration is lowered from 5 minutes to 2 minutes for 1 stamina.
- Crewmates get double XP.
- +25% bonus to Onboard Knowledge
- +25% Purchase bonus when buying Medals.
- Double XP when upgrading items at the Blacksmith
- 80% Discount for recruiting Past Crewmates on Replays
The Gold Pass and Ad removal subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from Google Play under subscriptions of from the High Sea Sagas Google Play page.

Kairo Club
If you have bought and installed other Kairosoft games on your device, you can get medals for every title you bought (max 1 game per day!) Simply Install Kairo Club on your device and tap Bonus within High Sea Saga. Sometimes there is a random game that awards double medals. Lite games only award 25, while full games award 50, meaning with the double bonus you can get 100 medals for one game! You can only get medals for a game once.
Note: If your device is rooted, Kairo Club will not work without external software.
