Races Training Pedigrees Breeding Abilities Structures Items Jockeys Visitors
Endgame / Replay Bugs & Cheats Manual Tips / Walkthrough

The key to winning races is to be prepared for it beforehand. Before running/signing a race, you can view how long is it as well as the course route. It allows you to estimate how much stamina the horse will need to finish the race, and what stats are more important in order to win. However, the training of your horses is a the key aspect for winning races. Every horse have base stats and maximum stats bases on the pedigree and traits, and all the horses of the same pedigree have the same max stats but different base stats.

About Training[]

You can train your horses beyond their limits by using training facilities, and teaching them abilities, but you can not do so using Special trainings. The best way to max the stats of your horses is training them until they reach their max stats and then teach them abilities. The stats of the jockey who ride the horse also influence their stats. It is very important chose the right jockey for the job, as if you enter a race with a lots of curves it be wise to use a jockey with high corner. Also a jockey with high training stats will train your horses better.

When a horse is 3 years old his max stats drop down; this means that they need to reach their max stats into the first 2 years. The stamina, speed, dexterity or intensity of a horse never drop down so if you reach the max for that stats it will not drop down. But if you don't max their stats, they will never truly reach thier potential. Sometimes you can train or sign on a race but not both because all of these can make your horse get fatigue. When you breed a horse his base stats will be higher, so you don't need train them as much as a pure pedigree.
